A strategic framework for excellence in research and innovation
Our research is organized to maximize impact and focus, with a structure in three specialized groups. This framework integrates fundamental discoveries with translational applications, ensuring every project is aligned with patient-centered outcomes and clinical relevance.
Organization into 3 complementary research groups
Group 1: Innovative Approaches for Drug Delivery, Cell Therapy and Tissue Regeneration
This group focuses on advanced therapies and novel formulations to promote tissue regeneration, optimize drug delivery and address rare diseases with high unmet medical needs.
Group 2: Organ Dysfunction by Secretome Exploration and Theranostics approaches (ODys-SEET)
This group investigates the secretome, vascular biology and organ-specific microenvironments to develop targeted therapies for organ dysfunction, transplantation and gastric pathologies.
Group 3: Innovative 3D Models & Therapeutic Solutions in Inflammation and Oncology (3D-TIO)
This group develops patient-derived organoids and other 3D models to study tumor heterogeneity, therapy resistance and inflammatory processes, driving the discovery of new therapeutic solutions.
Technological platform: TiBioC and Microdyn & Cell
The technological platform supports all groups by providing advanced tools, devices and strategies to regenerate tissue, restore organ function and translate research into clinical applications.
This framework enables us to integrate fundamental discoveries with translational applications, ensuring that each project, from nanoscale therapeutics to regenerative platforms, is aligned with patient-centered outcomes and clinical relevance.
